Are people really complaining about Paul’s new album being advertised? That’s how it’s always worked. And album comes out and gets promoted. As for selling tie in products along with it, that’s also nothing new. And some of you are acting like this is all the personal doing of Paul alone. Record companies, people. Record companies make these decisions.. Well atleast John Lennon hasn’t had to keep plugging his music for the last 40 years.. Well I like these functional and nicer looking things than George Harrison’s current All Things Must Pass Christmas babble. Any one complaining here about Paul should be screaming over George’s crap.. What would you have him do…be a farmer? Working on one’s craft is timeless!. He & the other beatles lost a fortune in their early days. Their manager negotiated pitiful merchandising agreements through inexperience. Bands merchandising their image was not a done thing before the beatles.

If people stop and think for a while they might realise artists of his era do not get airplay on the main radio stations , also his videos will not be played much on TV either ,. Man that is some unfortunate graphic design on the yellow one. M. C. Art Ney? Moc Art Ney? Man Are Cty? Literally couldn’t figure out what it said until I read the album where it’s spelled like normal.. they just cannot make enough money ffs. Really? A McCartney face mask?. Why would anyone buy a Paul McCartney face mask? A tea cosy or a tartan blanket maybe.. Daniel J. Alimossy. Linda Sanderson. C’mon folks, really? Hatred fills even a FB post about McCartney merch? From what you can hear, (in the film “Eight Days A Week or Shea for example) it’s amazing how well they played with limited monitors and Ringo keeping time by watching they’re movements from behind. Especially Paul’s high harmony in the middle of Baby’s In Black “Oh how long will it take…” He literally rises to the occasion and nails it in most of the live versions I’ve heard. Many of John’s harmony parts too.. Cynthia Somin. Sorry Ringo feels that way – many of us really listened to the music – no screaming – loved almost all the Beatles’ songs, so talented.. The music of them will live forever, they are genius, every single Beatle . But Paul and John together are such brilliant Musicians.. It was the music and the Beatles that people loved. When you see greatness, it is hard to hold back. There will never be another band like the Beatles ever and the people knew it. They were heaven sent.
I was at their afternoon show in Montreal. To this day I have never heard such an incredibly loud sustained scream. It went on for the whole show.. Must have been extremely frustrating for them not to hear their own music! The best band ever! The four of them came together to create the most amazing music! It lives on forever. There will never be a group like this.We all loved them back in the day.Loved the music. Had all the beatles albums.. Saw them in Detroit at The Olympia, I was 12. All we ever heard was the screaming …….which I was a part of! . It was Paul who kept it going the whole time! He still loves the adulation! The others were done with the mania far longer then him.. Its all part of the story: first they were leather-clad punks in Germany, then the biggest live act in the world, then the biggest recording artists in the world making stunning albums. No story in music even compares.
