Texas isn’t the only cowboy state. People think coming from Texas makes you more of a cowboy. It was a Texan that hurt my grandson and he damn sure wasn’t a cowboy. Some of the best bronc riders ever came from the northern states.
- Las Vegas is in a Western State; cowboys come from everywhere! Texas centrally located in the USA! DFW easy to fly into; Venue on the Interstate, easy access! Makes sense to me!
- One of the places that has contributed most to the American cowboy is also california.The early vaquero has left the legacy of terminology and equipment.The history of ranching and cattle tending in the states is an awesome one
- Apparently most of you dont realize her grandson was savagely beaten in Fort Worth not very long ago. He is in the hospital in bad shape. No one knows why he was attacked at this point….Real cowboys go easy on people, speaking soft and kind words…BTW they come from the Tescher family…famous saddle bronc riders and champions from the 50’s
- my hero bronc riders from the northern states were Denney Looman, Lynn Taylor , Jim and Tom Tescher , Hi Whitlock, and Johnny Ley, Glad Las Vegas Events are more for the contestants than themselves. Back to Vegas next year. Where it belongs in my opinion

Las Vegas Events is for the almighty dollar, they don’t CARE about the contestants. It’s the biggest week in Vegas because the Ranching community and Rodeo fans care about the contestants.
Las Vegas is the better venue but not possible this year. Maybe Nevada will get rid of some of their politicians over this as NFR was their biggest money maker. Won’t be that kind of money maker in Texas.
Nice that Fans can attend, no Vegas with all the Country Acts for the Fans and Nightlife but with all that’s going on this year glad to see it go on with Fans. She will be back in her rightful home Las Vegas next year and beyond.
