If you want to donate to mind do it to your local mind directly. National mind do not distribute the money out and they get a pittance compadre to what is donate. Your local minds are only affiliated and they help the people.
- Lovely to see Sir Fry! No. I will donate. I fail to see what Mind has actually achieved for anyone at all. I volunteered for my local Mind at the Institute of Psychiatry; King’s College Hospital London over 20 years ago. If Mind was of any value; things could not possibly have become so much worse than they were 20 years ago!!!
- Mind is an outmoded unfit for purpose Dinosaur We deserve more than a static venue with access to table tennis and poole. We need an organisation with vision and courage not an organisation that shelters itself and its clients behind closed doors. And charges them not only for access but also refreshments
- Mind is far more concerned with its own survival than enabling its clients to make forward progress. This is one particular Dinosaur who in its current form (like it actually ever changed)should become extinct. I completed a half marathon today raising money for MIND. I started at one mental heath hospital and ran to the other where I work. The whole community at Aberbeeg Hospital were there to welcome me back. They made the biggest medal ever seen I think. All of them service users and staff working under the covid restrictions with dignity and respect.
