That’s what I did when my kids were little they didnt pick up their toys out the door they went now if my grandkids dont pick up their toys they go to salvo, Too Funny!…I tell my Gkids if Grandma has to pick them up with her bad back…they will go in a trashbag and TIMEOUT for a month….they pick them up in less than 5 minutes…DONE
- Mine had 5 minutes to clean up.any that were let were put into a garbage bag. Once they had gone to bed I emptied their toys into the toy box but they never knew. If they didnt come off their phones I took their chargers away and watched them panic
- I tried this! My second son went and got the garbage can and started throwing things away while saying, “You will just have to buy me new toys!” So I didn’t know where to go from there.
- I never had that many toys. We played outside mostly and if it was too wet or cold, we played in the basement telling ghost stories or building tunnels with chairs and sheets, or paper dolls..I guess that was our mess…paper dolls.
There was never any threat in my house( never bought anything expensive for one), if it wasn’t put away it was givin away or thrown out. Had a rubber maid bin .. went in there and in basement for one week. If they didn’t ask then it stayed
I did both I would put them in a trash bag but most of the time would pot them in the closet and give them back in a few days Teens don’t wanna be a member of, “The Buy-back Club”, either. Sellibg bags of stuff for $5/bag is a small fee for maid service privided. Use black bags so they can’t be picky about what they get back.
