Didn’t the teacher understand that an asthma attack isn’t something 2 ignore??? It’s a matter of life and death!!!! It’s an emergency!!!!! Kudos 2 the young man!!!! He did the right thing and should not have been suspended!!!! The school should b ashamed of themselves!!!! A pulmonologist should come and talk 2 them and tell them just how bad an asthma attack can b!!!! The school’s actions were sick, disgusting and despicable behavior!!!!!!!! If that girl had died it would have been the teacher’s fault! I commend the young man. Good call on his part. Reminds me of a time I was on the track w/ students and yelled for a student to go get the nurse. The nurse was not “moving fast enough”, and my student suggested the nurse sit in the wheel chair while he RAN! Kinda comical seeing the nurse arrive “in the wheel chair!” But…like this young man…my student had the nurse to the track in a matter of minutes!!! The “kid” used good common sense and was correct! Great job Anthony you are a son any parent would be proud of you. Thank you for helping a fellow student while the teacher had to wait for instructions that teacher is an adult and should have acted like one. So sorry they choose to punish you over your courageous act Thank you for your bravery and courage to do the right thing. You are a hero in my eyes. You may have saved that young girls life and for that the school suspended you! Shame on the teacher and principal for setting such a poor example of right and wrong. Continue to do what is right!
