Our boy Lenny was diagnosed with mmm 4 years ago, right now he’s healthy, happy, no treatment, just need to watch him since he has had 2 seizures, but God bless you for taking care of her.Love her name! What an adorable dog and sweet lady. So many great dogs in shelters worth adopting. If you’ve thought about adoption please go online and look at local shelters. Wish all dogs everywhere could have this happy ending & find forever homes….get so emotional watching this kind of story & cannot believe that some humans can be so cruel. Well furbaby you a Star just look at you your beautiful and you look so happy. Well done mum it just goes to show you with love and care it makes the world go round. Dear Sherry – thank you for sharing this video and for rescuing Destiny – my heart is warmed and my eyes are filled with tears of joy – I soooo needed that this morning – your love has traveled through the internet to give me respite from this hardened world – thank you! I’d love to know how Destiny is doing. Her autoimmune disease is MMM- Masticatory Muscle Myositis. My pug has this as well, his is in remission. It’s a 1:2,000,000 chance for a pug to have this disease. Chu was diagnosed when he was 1yr 2 mos old and he is now almost 3. Anyway to get me in touch with Sherry that would be great. I have questions. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful story with us. You definitely are this dogs angel. Brought tears to my eyes after reading how much she has gone through. She looked so sad and pathetic and now she looks so happy and is enjoying her wonderful mom.Bless you both. She was so lucky to have you step into her life. I soon as I saw this picture I swore the head my chocolate lab had the same thing to the point where she couldn’t move her jaw and if she were astray on the street she would have starved to death it was a neurological problem the doctor only seen it twice. He started her on heavy doses of steroids and thank God it worked.
