Explaining this, the government thinks that the horse herd grows too fast is the cause of soil erosion, destruction of water resources, harming Aboriginal life and affecting the food source of the other wild animals. However, animal protection groups believe that shooting and killing innocent wild horses is not a way to solve the problem.
