Yesterday we went to the article on how to recognize commercial airplanes, but that is only a part of today we will move on to the next part so we can better see what commercial aircraft are and Why are they called commercial planes?
Previous article wrote about the first part and there are 5 steps to be aware and we have gone 2 steps ago, today we will come to the remaining 3 steps.
If you determine the aircraft has neither propeller nor a “T” tail, go to step 3, determining the engine number under the wing. If the engine number is 4 (2 under each wing) then it could be a Boeing 747 or Airbus A380, Airbus A340 or Bae 146 (also known as Avro RJ). Boeing 747 or Airbus A380, A340 are all large aircraft.
Next, proceed to observe the number of windows in the passenger compartment.
If the plane has two layers of windows, it is the Airbus A380. This is the largest passenger airliner to date and is produced by Airbus – the aerospace airline of four European Union countries: France, Germany, Great Britain and Spain.
