Cat sewing mends the soul poster
To answer the above questions, scientist Saho Takagi experimented with 30 domestic cats in two scenarios. Scenario 1: Falling boxes have vibrations and objects fall out, while falling boxes with no vibrations, there are no objects falling (comply with physics principles). Scenario 2: Falling boxes with vibrations have no object falling out, and falling boxes with no vibrations, the object may fall (not following physics principles).
As a result, cats tend to stare at boxes emitting a vibrating sound, meaning they accurately predict an object’s presence based on the sound in the box. They also look longer into the box for unexpected results that contradict the laws of physics.
