Ari, bone up here. It’ll take a while to get through all that peer reviewed material, and all those very sensible questions, but if you won’t put in the time, you’re just opining out the wrong end.
Brad is not my mother, but he owns this site, and he doesn’t want commenters attacking each other. I can be entirely too florid for such a policy, but I try to respect it.
So get on your refresher course and stop blathering about perspective. I know the relative sizes of Pentagon and 757, but do admit I don’t know all the sizes of our multifarious stocks of missiles.
Those clips show a missile. The surveillance cameras were on conservation mode so things look herky-jerky and the missile was, of course, going too fast to show in every frame, but you can see the nose entering the frame on the right after the cop car goes by in the first one, and the whole missile just as it’s about to hit, again on the right, again after the cop car, on the second one.
