Will always support this charity and wear my poppy with pride to remember my grandad and friends who have fallen along with those that served and are still in service protecting us.. My grandad also made sure we all wore a poppy & knew what it was for. He had served in WW2 & was involved with our local Royal British Legion. It’s not a tradition to wear poppies in South Africa, though there is a March to the Cenotaph in the Library Gardens each year which I’m involved with with the Cubs and scouts.
