Your one of the few who have the power to change things.. I’m so entirely angered by the GDP comparisons, motivated me into action. Thank You. . But hey let’s keep people thinking and spewing the crap about how the USA is the worst about slavery.. The United States current minimum wage of 7.25 an hour is tantamount to modern day indentured slavery… chained to low wage jobs with very little upward movement, keeps the poor and needy, poorer and needier.. Yes, we have to re-distribute the wealth so that young and old can work and start new businesses. Slavery started with disrespect for others lives …. still exists in all democratic cities and Africa. I see you forgot to mention that a large sum (read majority) of the modern slavery takes place in Islamic countries. If you want the truth to be told, tell the whole truth mr. Richard Branson.

When you have seen children as young as 8 making carpets in Egypt and thier eyesight is shot by the time they are 20 or grinding our the souvaneer vase that sits on my shelf. You know personally that slavery exists. . Modern day slavery exists because we allow it…we as a society need to take a hard look at our consumption and ask the question of origin…Apple,Nike just an example of massive companies that utilize slave labor.
