I know things are not easy for you as you’re faced with this new challenge. Know that I’ll be here reading your posts and cheering you on. Just as you’ve done in the past, I know you’ll tackle this head on with your determination and strength…and a bit of humor, I hope. You’re in my prayers. Please, please know your army of followers are keeping you close.
- I’m sorry that your community does not understand that wearing a mask is not necessarily about them but people in their community who may need the extra protection.Meanwhile in NC, major spike in cases… I guess for some folks, it doesn’t matter until the virus takes hold of one of their own.
- My hubs has been on IVIG infusions for a while. The nurse/infusionist comes to our house once every five weeks. It’s literally saved his life. He has necrotizing myopathy. Maybe they can do your infusions at home too?
- It’s going to be ok. I just had an infusion to deplete my white blood cells. I don’t wear a mask unless I go somewhere where they are required. You will be fine. Don’t live in fear! I don’t live in fear. I do want my children to go to school and no immune system plus covid is not a good idea.
Having three kids going back and forth makes me more aware. I can not understand why masks are such a problem for people who wear seatbelts and get immunizations and wear shoes in restaurants. Chowan is the highest because people refuse and yet, our schools are open because we wear masks.

Only wearing a mask where it’s mandated and likely didn’t wear one all the months before it was, then proudly announcing it – you’ll never know the illnesses and death that you very likely contributed to. Your post reflects a lack of knowledge.
in NY we wear masks everywhere and I don’t think we are in denial about this virus like the numbers are saying NC is… you should have learned from us in March this is real wear your mask, so we resort to shaming someone? That’s gonna get someone to wear a mask! Yes COVID is real I know all to well but could you please tell my grandmother who passed away in a nursing home alone, scared, and with a mask on?
