Our pets are well taken care of in our wills and in our everyday life. We have good friends and neighbors who will care for them if anything happens to us. I so wished I had a yard and a bigger place to foster. I would do it in a heart beat. Best Wishes for these babies. And hope they don’t have to suffer because of humans. Mandy I feel the same way. My cats are rescues. I only agreed to take the last one “temporarily” and within a couple of days I couldn’t let him go. He is the “luvy-lunk” I never knew I needed. I would love to foster but my 2 dogs don’t get among with others. I truly believe it would be a stressful situation for everyone. But one day I will foster. Unfortunately, fostering isn’t feasible when you rent. It’s hard enough to find places that allow pets at all and of the ones that claim to be “pet friendly” they usually make it cost prohibitive to have any. I’m from Italy. Here, in most cases, the shelters are properties of the municipalities. Due the covid 019 the volunteers may no get to the shelters and feed animals or take them for a walk. Very strange and depressing. You know… There are priorities but I feel sad for that. We’re asking to foster dogs in our home… I know what you mean. I fostered 2 pregnant cats. One had 5 kittens and the other had 4. I am now the proud owner of 11 cats. I love them all very much. me too…they’re alot of work but all fixed and very sweet. Been trying to find homes for some because I’m overwhelmed and not in great health. But I refuse to take any to the pound. I live in Assisted living home cannot live by myself any more . Cannot have pets here The $4,000 a month it cost to live here there is never anything left over.
