All I got so far was the $600 retroactive back pay,… I have yet to recieve any regular weekly $600 payments,… This whole situation is beyond depressing,… I have insomnia every night but can’t afford to see my Dr bc I lost my medical benefits,… I have horrible crippling anxiety & zero peace of mind,… My nerves are shot,… But I do pray for every NJ citizen struggling & facing battles that others know nothing about,… These are traumatic times we live in & ppl are quick to judge, hostility & stress are taking over & I pray for & support all small business owners bc they are struggling too,… Sending my prayers & blessings to all. I have been there twice on unemployment in my 38 years of working you can’t count on anything except yourself so your focus should be getting a job regardless. The two times were during recessions and I sent out over 600+ resumes to get maybe 50 responses, you do what it takes until your back to work because that is all you can count on. Words of encouragement. I will say I have no sympathy for people that try to live off of programs that are meant to be temporary for those in need. Can you possibly make a more insensitive, nasty comment??? Do you think people actually enjoy worrying about paying their bills? How long did it take to get your unemployment payments when you all applied? I have friends who are STILL waiting! And my son never got his relief check. Anyone else waiting for that too? The $600 payment authorized in the CARES act is eligible for payment starting as of week ending 4/4/2020. If you receive regular unemployment for any week through 7/25/2020 (full or partial benefits) you will automatically receive the $600 payment. There is nothing else you need to do at this time. The payment will come separately from your regular unemployment payment, but will be processed through the same payment method you have on file (direct deposit or debit card). If you are found to be ineligible for Unemployment, but eligible for Pandemic Unemployment.
