I absolutely love turtles, people give me a turtle anything and everything and I love it all. Yeah, I cried and blew my nose, so so so beautiful!

All that is very beautiful, but this turtle is marked by this device as the slaves were marked with a hot iron. Humans can never “release” an animal without a mark on it that it is their property
