It’s a type of person who does this. I’ve had absolutely ridiculous things happen when I’ve had to bring my pet for emergency treatment and been absolutely disappointed. If not for my background in veterinary care, it would have been detrimental to my pet if i had blindly followed their treatment plan. But i have the understanding that things happen, mistakes can be made…and i move on. Speak with the company directly. Not trash talk on social media where someone may not be able to get the full story. People blame the vet when they don’t come to the vet early enough, don’t have enough money to care for an animal properly. It is not a right to have an animal, it is a privilege. Dont think this awful person realises that vets dont become vets for the money. The hours, stress, and years of dedication needed to even become a vet all far outweigh any financial gain, and vet bills are high because animal health is not subsidised the way human health is in many parts of the world (especially the UK).
People need to remember a pet is a luxury, not a necessity. She seriously thinks $500 is expensive for Anesthesia, pain meds, stitching and antibiotics? Man this woman shouldn’t own pets if she feels that way. Sounds like she was pissed that the owner of the ‘agressive’ dogs refused to pay and took it out on the vet. Bet there is more to that story too. Woman sounds like a total drama queen. Ive only every had one time when i wasnt happy with my vets in roughly 15 years that was during this virus i thought it was an emergance on a saturday thinking adout it now im glad i didnt complain 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other.
