I’m didn’t take a dime of government money and kept working, but I am glad that the service industry people got a check. Now we average 1 case per million per day. We obeyed totalitarian restrictions for 10 little weeks without whining and now everything is open.
America is facing the year 1340 without the benifit of year 2020 policy.  the only problem with paying people to stay at home is after a certain point, money completely loses its value, because you cannot purchase anything with it. If nothing is being produced, what can you buy with it? i do think that you are correct in that the government should protect those it is forcing to stay home with a moratorium on its bills like mortgage and rent. I think that is the fair thing to do. I find it interesting how possessed you are ideologically. I have been working this entire time on a site with thousands of employees with no time off since the lockdown. What do I do for a living you ask? Why, health and safety my fellow! I am working in direct relationship with OSHA and the governors office. We have had 22 cases since January with no fatalities and no exponential increase and we are taking precautions like masks and sanitization. So, I will have another cup of coffee, and I will continue to keep working and telling people to take basic precautions and stay away from obviously stupid things like protests. We do not need to lock the country down. If you want to go live in a tyrannical communist regime, I bet they would let you in. There are plenty of them. We are going to keep doing what we are doing, and patriots that value individual liberty will continue to resist the collectivists at all costs. We have our work cut out for us. Part of my living as a widow depends on rent I receive from my duplex, for which I charge lower rent than most other places. Landlords need an income too – and we’re not all rich.
