Good to see Bruce up and about. Admittedly, I have not listened to a lot of the newer stuff, but I hope whatever they are working on turns out good. Look forward to seeing the boys on the road again soon.
- It’s a proper live recording!! Not a studio enhanced so called live album. That’s Maiden.. What you see is what you get. Like it, buy it. Don’t like it, don’t buy it!! And I’m sure the plan wasn’t to release two live albums within 5 years and no new material but when people are moaning about no gigs to go to it’s them actually giving the fans something at least.
- Plus Bruce on Twitter said they have been in the studio!! New album will be amazing I’m sure now he has his health back. I love Book of Soul’s but you can tell he’s struggling on some notes. Up the Irons!
- I don’t plan on buying this. A bluray, on the other hand, I would buy! I bought the Book of Souls Live Chapter as a “souvenir” of that tour, having seen them twice. A bluray of that would’ve been great to but at least they released a digital version on iTunes, which I bought. Maiden concerts need to be both seen and heard! Up the Irons!!!
that was one of the biggest things about this tour was the visual spectacle that it was. I’m dumbfounded why they would not release this on Blu-ray. Exactly! That is why I want to see a bluray so much! I have watched a couple of decent bootlegs on You Tube. Loved them! A bluray release would be great!
There was a video for BoS Live bit they put it on YouTube and never released it. If it isn’t still up, it shouldn’t be hard to find. You Tube is really easy to rip so must be loads of copies out there. Burnt my own blu ray of it haha
I already seen the BOS video. I watched it when it premiered on YT. I later bought it on iTunes. Wish they made a physical release instead of just digital/iTunes. I’m not a fan of digital at all… Would far rather have had the lossless audio and full bit rate!!
I am a huge Maiden fan but I don’t understand their need to release so many live albums. Many times with the same old songs on them. I buy most of them since I am a collector. But it borders on the ridiculous. Name any other major recording act that has the backlog of live albums that Maiden has.
