Look at my president campaigning for 2020 without one cent spent. Donations or even tax-payer money, and he still donates his presidential earnings to charities. He doesn’t want to get richer by being the head of the government. Instead he does it because he loves this country and the people in this country. He gave himself and his kids tax cuts, got millions from China for his real estate projects overseas in exchange for trade concessions, charges higher rates at his private properties on the tax payer dime when he vacations there, asks foreign dignitaries to stay at his hotels, which he then charges extra rates for, begs for donations every day from his supporters, and his Homeland donation this year of 100 thousand was the first one announced publicly in a very long time.
His vacations and charges for his personal properties for this year alone are many times higher than his presidential paycheck would have been. One weekend at his Mar-A-Lago resort with his staff and security costs taxpayers over 3 million dollars. FOR ONE WEEKEND. Most of which is paid TO Donald Trump through his ownership shares in that resort. If I donate my paycheck to charity and then get paid over a million bucks to go on vacation for three days I’m not exactly working for free, am I? Hugh Ross , his paycheck only comes quarterly.
