When these martial artists perceive the 3 elements of loyalty – courage – honor, they are then officially considered a true samurai and the above 3 factors are the three factors that constitute the samurai spirit . The samurai spirit is handed down with 7 moral rules: 義 (Gi – Justice): Japanese samurai always put honor and self-esteem above money, self-control, and not let desires want to tempt to fall, the spirit to stand against all evil and cruel forces.
仁 (Jin – Kindness): a true samurai is someone with great tolerance. The benevolence of a samurai can be shown in many different ways, but the culmination of benevolence is the forgiveness of his enemies.
勇 (Yu – Courage): The samurai are always the bravest people and consider death very gentle. They have always believed that “a meaningful death, rather than a meaningless life”. It is this courage that makes samurai many people think of the brilliant but short image of cherry blossoms.
