Octopus has very good eyesight. Octopus eyes, in particular, do not need to be used to distinguish colors, although they have that ability. Attached to the brain are two special organs called the balance sacs, which help the octopus orient its body to be always horizontal.
The octopus also has a great touch. The attractive senses of octopus have very sensitive receptors. However, they have a very weak sense of substance. They are unable to locate their body or its tendrils. (This does not mean that they are incapable of processing large amounts of information; their tendrils are more sensitive than the limbs of vertebrates.) In short, octopus do not possess sensory perception. stereoscopic, meaning that it can only sense the transformation of things but cannot assemble it into a complete form.
