Jack’s fascination with Christmas made him think of an intention to usurp the role of Santa Claus (the song “Jack’s Obsession”). Each resident of the town was assigned a mission to organize a festival (the song “Making Christmas”); Meanwhile, Sally, a rag doll girl made by a mad scientist from the town, begins to fall in love with Jack. However, in her heart she was always afraid that Jack’s plan would turn into a disaster (the song “Sally’s Song”), but could not convince him. Jack assigns Lock, Shock and Barrel, a trio of mischievous children to capture Santa and bring back Halloween Town. Guests with Jack’s will, for fun (the song “Kidnap the Sandy Claws”), three children brought Santa Claus to Oogie Boogie, a father who is addicted to gambling, who intentionally harms Santa Claus (the song “Oogie Boogie’s Song”).
When Christmas comes, Sally intends to use mist to stop Jack, but fails by the glowing nose of Zero’s ghost dog. Jack soars into the sky in a coffin-shaped rickshaw pulled by the skeleton reindeer, under the guidance of Zero. He started distributing gifts to children all over the world, but his gifts (including crooked heads, a Christmas tree-eating snake, a Jack in a box pumpkin, a vampire teddy bear, toy ducks with pointed teeth, moving holy wreath, etc.) scared the kids. They called their parents, and the parents called the police. The anti-aircraft alarm system is activated and it is discovered Jack thanks to the headlights. Jack was shot down by anti-aircraft cannons. The rickshaw crashes and Halloween townsfolk think Jack is dead, but he survived and landed at a graveyard. Although he was disappointed with the broken plan, Jack quickly regained his spirit and came up with new ideas for next year’s Halloween season (song “Poor Jack”). He quickly returned home to rescue Santa and settle everything.
