“They see knowledge as a prerequisite for authentic action,” writes Dr Drenth in his ebook, My True Type. “Without their full map, they feel disoriented and useless. For them, external circumstances are less important than self-understanding and self-direction. But once they have a strong sense of who they are and what they should do, they feel they can be happy almost anywhere.
On the contrary, extroversion tends to look into the outside world for inspiration and direction. Many of them are naturally more interested in matching or keeping up with what others are doing. As a result, extroverts often go faster to choose a career path – and possibly faster to hit some financial milestones.
