Once you have chosen a guinea pig, you will give it a name. If you have children, let them name them with you. You can get inspiration from the color of the guinea pig or the shape (pea baby) or personality (pea baby). Whatever the name is, don’t choose a bad or unpleasant one. You will be calling guinea pig within a few years so it should be good for you to like next time.
Sexual concerns about guinea pigs will disappear when your ovaries are removed or castrated. When you have no intention of mating guinea pig or competition, you should sterilize them. After being sterilized, the sex hormones will be gone, your guinea pig will be healthier, more gentle and lovely. Inability to farrow will help control the number of guinea pigs, meaning fewer guinea pigs will be left in the animal support center to die off.
