Front combatants deserve its durability and ease of use, as well as the quality of its speed. With one driver and two passengers, the three-wheeled M-72 has a payload of more than a ton and a half, but the power is still strong enough to propel it up to a top speed of 85km / h. Single motorbikes are lighter and faster, up to 105km / h, but less are made like that.
To be fair, it must be noted that the volume of domestic motorcycles shipped could not fully satisfy the battlefield’s needs for this type of technology. Therefore, along with the M-72, the Red Army also uses motorcycles brought into the Soviet Union under the assignment treaty among allied countries, such as the 500cc “Indian 741” and 750cc “Harley- Davidson WLA-42 ”. As solid and well-suited to overtaking roadless front lines, American cars had to yield to the Soviets on a rather practical point: American cars needed high-quality gasoline. And for such a high-class fuel, there is always not enough off the front.
