Perhaps Lem’s type no one called his name exactly like him: Born to lose, Live to win. And in case you haven’t heard, Lemmy was born with all the bad stars pointing at him: puncturing one eardrum, getting whooping cough right after birth, and not knowing who his biological father was until he 25 years old. Lem reluctantly met his father in the pizzeria, and by the way asked for his money to buy the band’s amplifier. Instead, his father, offered him money to go to school as a tour guide. “Luckily for you, the pizza is not coming out, otherwise you have a beautiful hat to go back to.” Lemmy never saw her father again.
Lem is like that. He learned how to love solitude and survive alone that he didn’t need anything since childhood. And with the ability to play drugs relentlessly from youth to death, most of Lem’s life, he believed himself indestructible diamond.
Influenced by the music of The Shadows as he grew up, Lem always dreamed of playing guitar with Stratocaster but not as soloist Marvin Hank, but as rhythm guitarist Jet Harris with a cool gesture. And even the Beatles used to wear leather jackets. That’s right, Motörhead’s unmistakable leather outfit.
