What does your business do? “ELLE Services produces, creates and perfects client marketing collateral such as brochures, web sites, commercials, everything from what you read in the newspaper to what you see on television. … I help with the writing and creation in order to get it to production. … Part of what I do is media and PR,” Murtaugh Gangi said.
Anything else? “For the very specific client, I do voice-over and spokes modeling. When companies do want to make a radio commercial or a training guide, I do voice-over and on camera. I love it because you really get to understand the client, the background, what the company does and is trying to do.”
What do you do most of? “The majority of my time is PR and media, whether it’s book promotion or helping a company get its message out to capture a new client base.”
What’s voice-over like? “There’s the benefit of being able to show up in jeans and a T-shirt with your hair in a pony tail and you just speak into the microphone. … It’s a lot of fun.”
How do you research a company? “A lot of people will tell me what their company is doing and why this project is occurring, what their goals are. Then I infuse all of that into my delivery.”
