I heard of a case in someone s vacation property where a crazy lady was feeding all the wildlife including vultures and the vultures started coming down and destroying everyone’s property until they put a legal stop to the lady that still tries to get away with feeding them lol people have to watch her like a hawk lol crazy
yes, they are renowned for doing this. They have no fear of humans and are so inquisitive. Hopefully she isn’t feeding them, not good for them. I was just about to relate a similar story. Friends who has visiting cockies that were being fed who then went on holidays. The amount of destruction these birds can cause is impressive. Timber windows and fascias were chewed to bits.
that’s probably not WHY it’s against the law. Or if it’s actually law as such. But it is a good reason not to feed them. Also for their own sake. Don’t teach them to rely on humans etc etc .
Happened to someone I know who rented a place , chose not to feed the birds as the previous tenants did. Therefore the birds destroyed timber window and door frames . The owner blamed the new tenants dog
