• My brother had been diagnosed as terminal. With not much time left for him, I’d drive to his house every week to visit . To talk , and share memories and watch a game. I had not really ever listened , ready listened , to journey .
• I knew who they were. Heard them on the radio growing up. My brother told me you have to listen to this guy Arnel. He’s amazing ! He loved his music. So we would listen often .We loved it. The soul you could feel in your voice. We felt that together. That built a memory between us. Music has the ability to touch the soul. Arnel touched us.
• I have that memory now. I can’t listen to you now without a tier going down my face. It makes me think of my brother. I can feel him. His soul. Because you shared yours with us. Thank you Arnel. Your a brother too now. Not going to Bash someone who’s an excellent singer, love that He’s continuing the Journey Legacy and the story of how He became the Singer is a total cinderella story sweet.

To rhose of you that cant accept the fact that Steve is no longer with Journey i pray for you that some day your hearts will be healed. Arnel, thank you for putting your heart into music. You are a great singer in your own right. You are doing a great job. Steve gave you his blessing. Carry the band through the 21st century.

I love your story Arnel, you are a rock star and you own it! Journey has been one of my favourite bands since I was a child. When I was tasked with photographing one of Journey’s Canadian shows in 2017, I could not wait to see you perform. The energy you bring to the stage is so awesome!!! No one can take that from you…ever!
