I think I read along time ago they can flap their wings 80 a sec they are my favorite bird as well and at night they either get to cold if the stay still to long or something like that. My mom has a hummingbird couple who come back to a spot under her patio cover every year and have a successful little family. how successful are they? What schools did the kids make it into? Do the parents have a good retirement plan set up? My Mom’s most favorite bird! They’re so tiny and extremely fast wings! They are a beautiful creation from our Heavenly Father! Agreed up until the last part. Hummingbirds are the product of millions of years of evolution. By saying your “heavenly father” created this, you’re completely shitting all over the unique (until proven otherwise) life evolution this planet has for some billions of years now… Let alone actual facts: Christianity’s life span is less than 2,000 years while the evolution of hummingbirds dates back to something like 22 million years ago. Get a grip on reality.
