I’m dying here from laughing so hard. I tried to get my daughter to take a year off from college but noooo. She just had to go. It’s the community college but who passes up a free year? No work, no responsibilities, just do what she wants for a gap year- That’s what we are dealing with here. How did they not add this into their equation when bringing back students on campus? Of course they’re going to hang out and party together. It was only a matter of time. Do we know how many were hospitalized? As much has I hate to say ECU will be next! Cluster identified in one dorm yesterday. Numerous parties broken up two weekend ago, one reporter with 400 guests. Just trying to keep our status of the best party school in the country I have trouble mustering any sympathy for parents who are complaining about this decision. It took exactly zero creativity to see where this was headed. I have no creativity whatsoever and I saw it coming from 6 miles away. My question is, how do parents who make dumb decisions spawn kids who are able to get in to Carolina??? Take Eringhaus dorm. That was where my asthmatic daughter was supposed to live. 8 kids in a suite sharing one bathroom. Are you freaking serious? You couldn’t figure out how that was going to end? COME ON! If that’s not a blatantly obvious recipe for disaster, I don’t know what is. We have just returned from dropping our son at Creighton University.
We were pleased to see most, if not all, students wearing masks. Let’s hope they practice social distancing. Classes are both online and virtual. Enrollment is approximately 4,000 ~ fingers crossed!
