Mom is loving and honest-full of grace yet not missing the teachable moment with consequences. I also appreciate her sharing “Jane’s” back story for society often does not consider that those with special needs fight like hell just to get to where they are. This mother is very magnanimous considering what happened with her daughter. It breaks my heart that this child has been through hell and back during her short 18 years. The fact that she had to sit and listen to her teacher berate her in such a cruel manner is way beyond unacceptable.
I admire this mom so much for the way she handled this because I know I would have been a raging lunatic. That teacher should not work with kids though…I think the only lesson she learned was not to post publicly how she really feels.
