Remember everyday we make choices in life, make that choice as easy as possible for your significant other, i never judge that is not what we are here for in this life. This is one of the best things I have seen on Facebook and makes me believe in people even more. Thank you! My wife and I have been married just over a year and I wouldn’t take anything in the world for her. Except a bullet. The love she shows me everyday is reciprocated. No we haven’t been married long but our love grows stronger every minute God has put Proverbs 18:21 on my heart all year “The power of life and death is in our tongue”. The way we speak matters. We can either speak life into our marriage or we can speak death into it. Too many people are speaking death into their Marriage every day and wondering why they don’t have a “honeymoon phase” anymore. To all those that are negative about marriage, I am sure we’ve all either read comments or listened to them. Marriage is work. Marriage requires a lot of love, energy, time, and effort. Some days, you’ll put everything forward and then some and other days your spouse will. Love isn’t a feeling, love is a commitment. Every time I tell my husband I love him, I mean it. Some days are harder than others, but even those days are so much better than being with the wrong person. He is not perfect, nor am I (Lord knows I am far from perfect). However, we are perfect for each other, I put God first and continually pray over my husband.
I pray each person finds that special someone. Its not all butterflies and rainbows, it takes you planting your feet, and adjusting your sails to the wind.
