The experts have been all over the place. They should have said, we aren’t sure yet. It was a new virus people would have understood if they had said this may help, instead of being so arrogant and wrong. Degrees are great, but common sense obviously doesn’t come with a degree. yeah that looks uncomfortable, just board up your house and stay there until you die and leave the humans that aren’t afraid of air alone.
- This is our travel year out of country but we are banned from Europe. Wish I had a tread mill but smoke is so bad here from 3 fires in our state and also smoke from Cali. If I use a treadmill and watch utube videos of walking tours I’m afraid I’d just inhale smoke.
- I support your advice to stay home. Not all travel “experts” are doing that, which just keeps giving people the impression that it’s a great idea to travel domestically now, or even to Mexico. It’s August! And it’s hot outside! Turn off your air conditioner and open your windows and pretend you’re in a small European hotel, gasthaus, or B&B! Bonus points for being able to sleep amid the heat and the street noise. “as we mask up, stay home, embrace science, and patiently and diligently get through this crisis together”… I love that!! …. .. .. If more people took that approach we’d be on the downhill side of this crisis, instead of where we are now..
We had to cancel our April trip to Paris. The day that would have been our arrival I surprised my husband with a little bistro dinner in our living room. The next day I showed him a PowerPoint with photos from a previous trip.
