People stop bitching about the guy I bet the people who is coming down on Dragon has father, brother or uncle like him. I have 2 cousins like him they carry guns and for what. They think they are Starsky & Hutch but we call them Squiggy and Lenny from “Laverne & Shirley” from 1976.  I agree Dragon’s caution. I was a security specialist and received training as a safety officer on a federal disaster response team, plus 20+ years in three branches of the military reserves. Dragon’s responsibility is to keep the team safe, even from themselves. If the team isn’t safe, people can get hurt, and the mission is jeopardized.

Also, having a PhD does not make you a genious. I worked in a research center with a lot of PhDs; some were brilliant, others so out of it that if you slipped a paper bag over their heads they wouldn’t be able to get out of it. They often tend to have little real world experience, spending most of their lives in academia and science centers. Put them in a situation like Skinwalker–or any place out of a lab–they can become reckless.

If it were up to me, I would first continue to investigate that well using safety measures like rad/hazmat suits and maybe drop some sensor down–maybe drop that snake camera they have–there so you can get a better what you might be dealing with. Mining for radioactive materials in Utah goes back more than a hundred year, first for radium, then uranium. They could be sitting on top of an old mine, or a dump site for radioactive tailings.

On the other hand, we see only a few hours out of hundred of hours of video recorded. No doubt editors are be cutting the video to create conflict and suspense for the viewers. So this may be much ado about nothing. Hey hey… be grateful he’s still around. Ghostbusters and He-Man wouldn’t play this gig.
