If you’re constantly burning money on wasteful things you’ll just continue to do it with more expensive things as soon as you have money to do so. Well, it depends: skipping a $5 Starbucks can make a huge difference to your future if you are barely managing, but he’s absolutely right if you are making a reasonably decent sustainable income already.
I give myself a daily allowance after bills,
I try to keep under that allowance and invest what’s left after each day into a variety of things be it stocks, self improvement, savings mortgage and home improvements.
İn my country Starbucks sell coffees not more than 2$. So i dont know if u become rich when you stop spending 5$ at Starbucks everyday but im sure Starbucks will reduce the price if you dont have willing to pay a coffee that much
