The production, design and costumes of the movie are very … weird. This I also agree. However, the more you watch, the more familiar the audience becomes familiar with the images. To do this, audiences must at least have faith in the adaptations, or in this case Cats. The costumes and makeup of the actors are greatly supported thanks to CGI technology. The cats in the movie are modified with mischievous ears and the tail is always fluttering. Another thing that audiences need to keep in mind is that the characters in the movie are full-sized, like cats. So the set must be really huge. For most of the film, cats will dance together, sing under tables, or even on a dirty street with dozens of trash bins around.
