Imported Akita dogs are fully documented. When accepting a dog, check the passport, birth certificate, vaccination book and FCI paper (if any) and compare it with the chip or number of the tattoo on the body.
Request a contract of responsibility with the seller and buyer in case the dog is sick or dead (especially due to heat stroke). The contract specifies the time, warranty, transportation costs, customs, storage, quarantine, etc., which is borne by the party.
