Rassam was born in 1826 in Mosul, on the Tigris River. In 1847 he began studying at Oxford and in 1854 was hired as an interpreter at the British embassy in Aden. Shortly thereafter, although only 30 years old, he was appointed envoy. In 1864 he went to King Theodore’s court of Abyssinia as a diplomatic messenger. Black sabbath hawaiian shirt.
