This stuff happens every day. Theres a report that goes out on all the court settlements major financial companies have every month. It is never empty, the public just doesn’t see it.
Such criminal activities will continue until people go to prison, right up to and including CEOs. Fines hurt nobody apart from the investors in the firm. The execs get to go home to their mansions and penthouses every night and sleep very well.
