Last year when Alabama won the championship, the visit was earlier in the day. I don’t remember hearing of a meal being served. I also remember the Alabama visit being much longer than a week after their victory as Clemson’s was. Maybe Trump didn’t have time to prepare enough for Clemson’s visit. But hey, last year Trump did a campaign speech during Alabama’s visit and brought up the fact that he won the state of Alabama. At least he didn’t brag about winning South Carolina this time…did he? All in all, I think the Clemson players enjoyed their fast food feast (cold fries and all) and were just glad it was them instead of Alabama visiting the White House.
