BUCKINGHAM Palace and the Royal Family obliged with Prince William’s many wedding wishes but one relating to his uniform was denied by the Queen directly, a royal expert has said.
Prince William reportedly wanted to be married in his Household Calvary blue frock coat which he and his brother Harry have worn on many royal engagements and events before.
But Sunday Times Royal Correspondent Roya Nikkhah revealed the Queen stepped in to deny his wish and said it was the only demand William did not get his way on.
Instead, the future king was told to wear his Irish Guard uniform as he was the Colonel.

PRINCE HARRY and Meghan Markle wasted a great opportunity to wish Kate and Prince William a happy 10th anniversary publicly, according to two royal experts.
Royal commentators Roz Weston and Graeme O’Neil spoke on ET Canada and discussed Prince William and Kate’s 10 year anniversary.
It is unclear whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle congratulated the pair privately on their milestone, although some reports suggest they did.
But, Mr Weston and O’Neil agreed it was a wasted opportunity not to write a tweet or Instagram message for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
