It’s like Groundhog Day every year with this team!!!I’m sick of it. They need lefty bats in there. RIP Whitey. The last of my boyhood hero’s. Your back together with Mickey and Billy.. I met Whitey at a baseball memorabilia convention. He signed a baseball for me. He was great!!! Go Yanks!!!. Whitey would love this. Two friends and I grew up blocks from where Whitey lived in Great Neck, Long Island. That was in the 50’s and 60’s. Part of us passed away with him today. A very sad day for all Yankee fans. Let’s win tonight in his honor.. One of the many reasons I became a Yankees fan. That era of players was awesome.. The best tribute today is a big WIN!!!!!. I was in the US Army Stationed in Iceland. A guy came in the Barricks .told me Whitey Ford is pitching to night..I didnt Know baseball or Whitey Ford..Watched the game with him.. Baseball the game I now love The Yankees that Whitey played with knew how to step up their game in the postseason, I hope these guys tonite will know what to do
