This hits home. My kids Dad was never there for them. My husband has been there for my kids for over 20 years. When my daughter got married we figured out a way for both to walk her down the aisle. My husband walked her half way and her Dad walked her down the rest. I am so glad that it worked out that way. Her Dad died a year later. My husband is an amazing grandpa now.
