I do believe that having a special needs sibling can bring to the other children the potential for an open heart, kindness to everyone not just those like you, and awareness that true equality includes all people in all parts of their lives. Kind of meandering off topic BUT when I first started following you, we got lots more pics of the kids. Look how Thomas and Russell have grown and I am astonished! More kids, I miss their little (growing up) faces!
Well written! I’m happy my boys grew up in a time when all races got along well in our towns. The last 10 years has seen a sad change but I blame some of that on the media stirring the pot. Prayers for our country So much to comprehend there. I’m a fierce southern mama, encouraging all the fishing & hunting that our semi-rural life has presented. My daddy told us, “If you kill it, bring it home, clean it & eat it”. So the absurdly huge capacity assault weapons – I can’t. I think you agree with me. All rights have limits.
