I’m so saddened by the loss of your friend, was praying for a better outcome, his smile on his picture says everything about his character, a bright light that was put out just for a time, I believe God allows those light to always shine, prayers for you, his entire family! So very sorry for Andy’s loss, but it sure sounds like his family and friends will have a lifetime of wonderful memories. During this time of separation and stress for our state and nation, our united concern and prayers for Andy brought us together.
- So sorry for your loss, and our prayers are being lifted up for Andy’s family and friends. I have been sharing and following the post and praying for a totally different outcome. Something about him touched my heart and soul from the very first post. I would have liked to have known him, sounds like a fine young man. God speed Andy, we will now pray for justice.
- This is someone who clearly genuinely believed the best in people. It is a sad world we live in where the ones who believe in the greater good in people are those who suffer the most. Prayers for his family and friends and those who missed out on knowing the joy this person had to offer the world.
- So very sad, my heart breaks for his family and friends. I did not know Andy, but somehow, I feel I did, having a son his age. May he Rest In Peace, and God’s Grace and mercy be with his family. Such a horrific, senseless death that will need God’s divine intervention to move forward. I’am so very sorry there are people in this world that can commit such a horrible act. God bless us all.
I’m so sad!! As a fellow Gastonia native and State grad I felt a bond to him too. I hoped and prayed for a happy ending!! My deepest sympathy for Andy’s friends and family!! And continued prayer!!
Sending prayers to God for peace for all who loved Andy. Sending love to those same people from the heart of a mother who has a son the same age as Andy. This hurts my heart. I can’t imagine the heartbreak for everyone that knew and loved him. You nailed it, I can count so many times where by the grace of God things went my way when it could have turned out so differently. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of those who knew Andy.
