Looks like he kinda started sinking near the end there….hope the film maker saved this little “insy winsy spider” Our Aussie Funnel Web spiders swim,they can live under water for 7 days or more without a problem.. Awww I’m glad that according to sources the little guy made it into dry land. Tarantulas are just like any other animal and deserve compassion too! Only got to read Charlotte’s Web to know that
Don’t know about swimming but I do know they float. My thinking the hair follicles hold air and lacking much weight they able to stay a float. Thus, walk on water. I’ve never seen one submerged where it looked like they were swimming. Spiders give me heebie jeebies, but this is pretty cool—if not also alarming. Like I probably shouldn’t know this and am a little terrified now that I do. Hope he made it paranoid of them.glad hes there not here but happy hes safe
