I love this because I had a gsd when I was little. Sadly, she was gone one day when I came home from school. I was devastated. To this day, neither of my parents know what happened to her – Saber. I truly believe my father did something awful to her. I still cry to this day and it was 45 years ago. God, I love her

- My dad did the same. Got someone to get rid of the dog so it wasn’t there to greet me from school. Used to look at other dogs thinking to could be her as a kid.
- Because u were young and dum ur father loved ur dog more than u but as they cant speak u tink ur father did something. Shepherds are so great w/ children! If I were to get a dog, it’d be a Shepherd. My dad had two growing up — told me they’re a lot of work, but worth it (he was heartbroken when they died). You are right Ellie Stanley ,my family had my first one when I was small ,grew up.with him then I had one when my children came ,then my girls both had a shepherd ,wonderful.dogs, This must be one of the cutest videos I have seen. It is so special to see how some families let their babies bond with their pets. He will always protect this baby
This has made me cry , I’ve got years running down my face, we had a dog female, we got her a year before our son was born, while I was expecting I used to tell the dog that there was a baby coming and that I wanted her to look after the baby
