- We appreciate your outlook so much! Our daughter lost her college trip to Iceland, Denmark and Sweden and her twin brother lost his semester study abroad in Greece due to Covid and the horrific US mismanagement there of. Your words give us hope for better “travel years” ahead.
- Interesting about the bullfight comment. I agree that any animal or person being tortured for the gratification of an individual is simply wrong on every level. Thank you for including this in your post, and more importantly not dismissing a passionate argument based on your view and the culture in Spain. I am happy that many Spanish are speaking out against this cruelty and in my opinion becoming more enlightened.

You gave the best advice before our trip to Italy- it worked not taking a rose at the Trevi Fountain! Boy he really tried though haha! Here’s to future travel dreams, stay safe! I don’t travel to Europe without you (ok, your guidebooks)! Your tips have been so invaluable. I impressed my friends by taking a carry-on only and personal item to Italy for 10 days and looked absolutely stylish! They ask how I did it. My answer is always, “Rick Steves.”
We actually went across the country to attend the tour reunion this year and who would have thought it was to be our last travel of the year. We can’t wait to travel with your company again. And attention: LOIS! We also have a home in Tybee island GA. Glad to see there are other RS travelers on the island!
